3.2 quake strikes south of Antioch

The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.2 struck at about 1:01 a.m. today in Contra Costa County.

According to the USGS, the earthquake had a depth of 9.4 miles and was centered 5 miles south of Antioch, 12 miles southeast of Concord and 25 miles northeast of Oakland.
