One of the largest unresolved
issues in the report is the lack of data on the potential impacts on human beings and waterfowl who would come into contact with the stormwater, treated or otherwise.
Croll said those questions will be answered in the next environmental assessment, which will be subject to review and comment by the California Coastal Commission, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and the public.
"We intend to address those concerns so that when we do discharge the water, it is acceptable, clean and meets all legal requirements," Croll said.
