July 4 fireworks to close roads

The Fourth of July fireworks at the Moraga Commons Park will close a portion of Moraga Road and all entrances to the Moraga Country Club between 8:45 p.m. and 15 minutes after the fireworks end.

Traffic will also be heavy for about an hour after the end of the fireworks display.

The closure of Moraga Road between Camino Ricardo and Hardie Drive is needed to make sure no one is injured by fallout from the rockets. Detour signs will be posted.
