Under-15 boys
Novato 7, Skyline A's 6: Skyline lost a heartbreaker in overtime at San Marin High. Novato was ahead virtually all game until a late goal by Sean Hughes tied the game with a minute left. Charlie Hanf scored twice, with Ryan Ellis, Tim Campbell, and Jack Moe adding one apiece. Hughes and Moe added assists. Henry Anderson played an excellent game in goal, but a defensive break down in overtime allowed Novato to sneak by.

Skyline Swarm 9, Palo Alto Tomahawks 4: The Swarm got off a to three-goal lead at the Gunn School in Palo Alto; two goals by Drew Ball (one solo and one assisted by Adam Kurkjian), and a Theo Williamson goal assisted by Jack Barney. Skyline led 4-0 at the beginning of the second quarter after a solo run by William Meredith, but the Tomahawks closed the first half to within two goals at 4-2. Meredith started the Swarm's big run in the third period with another solo effort, and completed his hat trick off an assist by Williamson. Ball got his hat trick off a feed by Meredith, and Jack Barney completed the scoring, assisted by Emmit Fenn. Remy Schofield and Drum Thompson split duties at goalie, with great defense by Evan Gallagher, Kurkjian and Joey Mirante shutting down the Tomahawks.
Skyline Swarm 6, Lamorinda Blast 1: The Swarm came within moments of a shutout, but a shot did get through with 15 seconds left. However, goalie Drummond Thompson was able to record nine saves, and the win streak also moves up to nine games. The defense was strong, with Edward Debrunner and Wes Dunlap making some key take aways, and Kurkjian and Mirante making some long running clears. Ball got another hat trick; Barney earned three points with a goal and two assists; Fenn had a goal and one assist; Meredith had a goal; and Matt Price made an assist.
Under-15 girls
Burlingame Coyotes 9, Skyline 0: Skyline played hard and short handed in rainy, adverse conditions on May 2, but ended up with a frustrating loss. Olivia Knowlton played goalie in the first half and Elena Dansky made her debut as goalie in the second half.
Novato 11, Skyline 4: In a more impressive second game, Skyline's Banks Dotson scored her first goal as an under-15 player and Aden Kinne scored her first goal of the season as well. Rachel Loo scored two goals. Elena Dansky played goalie for the whole game and made two saves.
OGSL
12-and under
Oakland Tornadoes 13, Piedmont 6: The Tornadoes stormed back to beat Piedmont, getting solid pitching and hitting to rally in the final innings. Grace Bonacum and Helen Thompson combined to strikeout 10 batters and allow no earned runs. In the last two innings, the Tornadoes scored 13 runs. Atirol Smith and Rachael Sims got two hits; Messia Madyun, Adrienne Siebert, Helen Thompson, Alana Bonales, Tiffany Chao, and Alex Manouphath each got one. Sims and Smith each had an RBI triple to spark Tornadoes.
14-and-under
Night 10, San Lorenzo Wreckin' Crew 4: Stellar hitting by Kennedy Mason (triple), Dalissa Sandigo (two singles) and Olivia Olmos (two singles) led the Night at San Lorenzo. Rachel Klein and Morgan Mason (single) both played terrific behind the plate, and Olmos and Alejandra Saavedra led in the circle. Vivian Wall scored twice, and Riley Moore, Maddy Kho, Lia Delvecchio, Hannah Wruck and Frances Keer all contributed to the victory.
