Four injured in Oakland shootings

OAKLAND -- Two apparently unrelated shootings sent four victims to local hospitals Sunday night and this morning, police said.
One victim was shot around 3:30 a.m. this morning in the 9000 block of MacArthur Boulevard, police said. The victim was taken to a hospital and listed in stable condition.
Hours earlier, just after 8 p.m. Sunday, three victims were shot in the 1500 block of 24th Avenue, near International Boulevard, police said.
All three were hospitalized. Two were treated and released, but the third remained in critical condition this morning, police said.
Homicide investigators were not called to the scene of either shooting.

Investigators reported no suspect information this morning and no one was in custody in either incident.
Between early Saturday morning and early Monday morning, police reported a total of seven shooting incidents that left nine people injured. No deaths have been reported in any case.
Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering as much as $5,000 per victim in reward money for information that leads to the arrest of a suspect in either case.
