Majors Division
Cubs 3, Diamondbacks 1: The Cubs defeated the Diamondbacks in a playoff game for the second half of the season, which secured both halves and their second straight Majors Division Championship. Cubs highlights: Strong pitching came from David Bridges and Jordan Chin, the combined for nine strikeouts and gave up one hit. David Bridges, Dylan Benney and Leo Brajkovich all drove in runs. Stefan Makris and Jake King also contributed base hits. DBacks highlights: Excellent pitching came from David Lintz, who struck out 11 Cubs and walked only one. Matt Schwerin hit a long triple and later scored on a past ball.

P.H. Panthers 5, Benicia Outlaws 3: Panthers highlights: Rachel DeChristofaro and Melissa Teifel combined to score all five runs as the Panthers opened their season with a win. Bridget Sosa pitched five strong innings, striking out three. Anna Anderson and Brittany McMillan made keys plays on defense.
P.H. Panthers 5, Half Moon Bay Waves 1: Panthers highlights: Nicki Holcomb piched five innings and offensively contributed an RBI double. With the score tied Jamie Higgins and Caitlin Stoos both had RBI singles to give the Panthers the lead. Defensively, Rachel Wong threw out a runner trying to steal second and Melissa Teifel made a shoe string catch in center.
P.H. Panthers 10, NorCal Heat 0: Panthers highlights: Bridget Sosa pitched a two hit shutout with three strikeouts. Jamie Higgins and Katie Mitolo hit back to back doubles in a seven run 2nd inning. Serena DeChistofaro singled, tripled and scrored twice. Brittany McMillan doubled and scored the final run of the game.

P.H. Panthers 10, Livermore Smoke 0: Panthers highlights: Serena DeChistofaro and Melissa Teifel sparked the offense as they both reached base three times and scored three runs. Tori Schaefer went 2- for-3, and with two outs hit a two run double. Caitlin Stoos drove in two runs on two hits. Rachel DeChistofaro sparkled at shortstop and Bridget Sosa pitched her second shutout to help the Panthers advance to the championship.

P.H. Panthers 1, Benicia Outlaws 3: Panthers highlights: The Panthers jumped out to an early lead when Serena DeChistofaro stole home in the first inning. The Outlaws tied the game in the 5th inning and took the lead in the 6th. Anna Anderson and Rachel Wong turned a nice double play to minimize the damage as the Panthers took second place in their first tournament of the season.
