Two interceptions late in the second quarter helped the Patriots pull ahead to stay en route to a Bay Valley Athletic League home victory.

Tyler McDonald made a one-handed snag of a pass by Antioch's Billy Cloninger and returned it 37 yards for a touchdown to give the Patriots a 21-13 lead with 3:09 left before halftime.

On the Panthers next possession, Heritage linebacker Jimmy Pagnini wrestled a pass away from Antioch's Greg Arroyos and returned it to the Antioch 41. Heritage (6-2, 2-1) took seven plays to score on a 5-yard run by Cody Cox with 13.8 seconds left to take a 28-13 lead at the break.

Cloninger lead Antioch (4-4, 2-1) with 192 yards passing, while Jamar Lea added 109 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Macias scored once for the Patriots, while Deshaun McCoy lead the team with 112 rushing yards and touchdown.
