Divisive article
I wonder what good comes out of trashing the reputation of Columbus who died 500 years ago. If Christine Armario wanted to be objective she could have pointed out to both the good and bad about Columbus.
I am afraid that the author's intention is not about truth but to malign one of the icons of the European descendants that are still the majority in this country.
This article is so deeply offensive to people like me who are of Hispanic descendent because is so racially motivated, so divisive trying to bring a wedge between the Spanish and Indian ancestry that we all share in Latin America.

Seventy percent of all Americans believe that the media are more interested in promoting an agenda that in informing the public.
Here is my second question: What exactly is your newspaper intention to publish Armario's article? What is your agenda: to offend people of Spanish, Italian origin and most Europeans and Latin Americans to keep people of this country divided along racial lines?
