El Cerrito 28, Alameda 21: Byron Thomas and Andre Williams hooked up for their fourth touchdown pass of the night, a 14-yarder with nine seconds left, that lifted the visiting Gauchos (6-3, 4-1) over the Hornets (4-4-1, 4-2) in an Alameda Contra Costa Athletic League game Nov. 6.
Thomas threw for 333 yards and also connected with Williams on scoring throws of 17, 30 and 39 yards.
