Concord 28, Mt. Diablo 21

In a game of contrasting styles, a 60-yard touchdown catch and run by Corey Galindo helped lead Concord to a Diablo Valley Athletic League home win over Mt. Diablo.
With the victory and Ygnacio Valley's 53-26 loss to College Park, Concord (8-2, 4-1) earned a share of the DVAL title.
Trailing 21-14 midway through the third quarter and facing a third-and-12, Minutemen quaterback Ricky Lloyd hit Galindo streaking past a defender in stride for the score. Lloyd then hit Angelo Childs for a two-point conversion to put Concord up 22-21 with 5:42 left in the third quarter.
Forrest Hightower added a three-yard touchdown quarter early in the fourth quarter to increaase Concord's lead
