Albin, Wyo.

- Two children die in snow plow, school bus collision --- A snow plow slammed into a school bus on an icy road Wednesday, killing two siblings and injuring their older brother and two other people.

The crash happened just before 8 a.m. about eight miles north of the ranching community of Albin, Wyoming State Patrol trooper Perry Jones said. The bus had made only one stop when the crash occurred.

An 11-year-old girl died at the scene and her 8-year-old brother died later at a Scottsbluff, Neb., hospital, authorities said. Their 18-year-old brother suffered minor injuries.

The bus driver was in serious condition with chest and abdominal injuries, and the plow driver was treated for minor injuries and released.

The siblings' school, which has about 120 students, canceled classes midday. Nine days earlier, April Sorensen, an 18-year-old senior at the K-12 school, died of pneumonia.
