An Aug. 10, 2001, wedding is planned by Hillary Klumpe and Brett
McKown, both of Hillsboro, Ore.
Miss Klumpe is the daughter of Sally Klumpe of Topeka and Dennis Klumpe of Burlingame.
Mr. McKown is the son of Ernest and Sheryl Pica of Topeka.

Kimberly Jo Mattison and Emery Kent Fager plan to marry on Aug. 12, 2001, at the Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Their engagement has been announced by Miss Mattison's parents, James Mattison and Kathy Mattison, both of Hutchinson.
Mr. Fager is the son of Duane and Beth Fager of Topeka.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Hutchinson High School and The University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
The future groom is a graduate of Washburn Rural High School and The University of Kansas with a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in information systems. He is employed by Cerner Corp. in Kansas City, Mo., as an application developer.

The engagement of Siobhan M. Hyland to Jeffrey Michael McGaughey is announced by Miss Hyland's parents.
Miss Hyland is the daughter of Patricia A. Hyland and her husband, Charles Fantz, of Topeka and the late Joseph M. Hyland.
Mr. McGaughey is the son of Dennis M. and Diane L. McGaughey of Peoria, Ill.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Washburn Rural High School, Topeka; the University of Virginia at Charlottesville with a bachelor's degree in English language and literature; and The University of Kansas School of Medicine with an M.D. degree. She is a resident physician in urologic surgery at the University of Missouri - Columbia hospital.
The future bridegroom is a graduate of Illinois Valley Central High School in Chillicothe, Ill., and the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana with a bachelor's degree in finance. He is the financial controller at Allegiance Health Care in Moberly, Mo.
A Nov. 3, 2001, wedding in Columbia, Mo., is planned.

Micheal K. and Deborah K. Taylor of Topeka announce the engagement of their daughter, Katherine Beth, to Rebel Shane Creighton of Topeka, son of Mildred Copeland of Muldrow, Okla., and the late George Creighton.
