Jennifer Foster

WASHINGTON. Conn. --- Memorial services were Thursday at St. John's Episcopal Church in Washington, Conn., for Jennifer J. Foster, 45, who died Sept. 30, 2001, at her home in Washington, Conn. She suffered a massive hemorrhage after a rupture to the esophagus.

She was born July 12, 1956, in New Milford, Conn., and graduated in 1974 from Shepaug Valley High School in Washington, Conn. She currently was a teller at the Washington Depot, Conn., branch of First National Bank of Litchfield, Conn.

She married Charles F. Foster on July 20, 1974, in Concordia, Kan. They lived in Concordia and Manhattan, where he attended Kansas State University. They lived in Glen Ellyn, Ill., for many years. He died April 1, 2001, in Lawrence, Kan.

Survivors include two sons, Charles G. Foster and Peter G. Foster, both in Washington Depot, Conn.; a daughter, Katherine K. Foster, Washington Depot, Conn.; her father, John Marsh, Washington, Conn.; her mother, Phyllis Marsh Edwards, Easton, Conn.; a brother, Tom Marsh, Fairfield, Conn.; and three sisters, Candee Marsh, Phoenix, Debbee Edwards, Pawling, N.Y., and Victoria Cherniske, Washington, Conn.

Mrs. Foster was cremated.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Foster Children's Fund and sent in care of Victoria Cherniske, First National Bank, Bryan Memorial Plaza, Washington Depot, Conn., 06794. Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home in Woodbury, Conn., was in charge of arrangements.
