Survivors include six sons, George Milton Bellinger, Imperial, Pa., Donald Glen Kline, Whittier, Calif., Dennis Floyd Bellinger, Rome, N.Y., David Joseph Bellinger andTerrance Leland Bellinger, both of Oskaloosa, and Ronald Charles Bellinger, Lawrence; a daughter, Barbara Maxine Patrick, Woodward, Okla.; two sisters, her twin, Maxine Martha Dyer, Kansas City, Mo., and Josephine Almeda Thornberg, Pittsburg; 22 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great- great-grandchild.

Burial will be in Wild Horse Cemetery, rural McLouth. Mrs. Bellinger Kline will lie in state after 9 a.m. Tuesday at Barnett Funeral Home, where visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

The family suggests memorials to the Stanwood Friends Church, sent in care of Barnett Funeral Home, 820 Liberty, P.O. Box 416, Oskaloosa, Kan., 66066.

Linda Shaw

HOLTON --- Linda L. Shaw, 47, Holton, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2001, at a Holton hospital.

Mrs. Shaw worked for Oldham's Farm Sausage Inc., Holton, for 22 years.

She was born Aug. 2, 1954, in Holton, the daughter of Wayne Milton and Louise May Helfer Marshall. She graduated from Holton High School in 1972 and attended vocational-technical school in Topeka. She had lived her entire life in the Holton community.

Mrs. Shaw was active in and served as secretary for the Heartland Division of the American Cancer Society. She also helped organize the Relay for Life in Jackson County.

She married Bruce Wayne Shaw on June 20, 1975, at Holton. He survives.

Survivors also include a son, Brandon Wayne Shaw, of the home; a daughter, Lindsey Elizabeth Shaw, of the home; and a brother, Ron Marshall, Topeka.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Evangel United Methodist Church, Holton. Burial will be in Holton Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Mercer Funeral Home, Holton.

The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association, which may be sent in care of Mercer Funeral Home, 1101 W. 4th, Holton, Kan., 66436.

Dennis Umscheid

WAMEGO --- Dennis Henry Umscheid, 82, Wamego, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2001, at a Manhattan hospital.

Mr. Umscheid was a farmer and operated a service station in Flush with his father for 13 years. He also operated an agricultural feed business for many years and was a heavy equipment operator for Ebert Construction for 10 years and for Pottawatomie County for 10 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in Germany and France in the European Theater.

He was born April 27, 1919, in rural Pottawatomie County near Wamego, the son of Raymond and Stella Siebert Umscheid. He grew up in Flush and attended school there. He was a lifetime resident of the Wamego area.

Mr. Umscheid was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church, a former member of the Knights of Columbus and a 4-H project leader. He also served as a Louisville Township trustee.

He married Mary Ann Farrell on Feb. 20, 1946, at Wamego. She survives.

Survivors also include two daughters, Janet Rumsey, Springfield, Ore., and Cheryl Banister, Springfield, Mo.; three sons, Gary Umscheid, Topeka, Bill Umscheid, Westmoreland, N.H., and John Umscheid, Lawrence; a sister, Betty Ridder, Auburn; a brother, Pat Umscheid, Brodnax, Va.; 10 grandchildren; three step grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three step great-grandchildren.
