North Topeka Baptist Church

Vacation Bible School will be from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 27 at North Topeka baptist Church. Children ages 5-12 years may attend. For more information, call 233-8071 and leave message if you plan to attend.

Bethel Baptist Church

Dr. Jim Anderson, of Kansas City, Mo., will speak at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at Bethel Baptist Church. He is past president of Calvary Bible College of Kansas City, Mo., and present professor of Clavary working with the "Angel Aircraft Corporation," an organization promoting and seeking underwriting for aircraft for nonprofit missionary organizations. Anderson trains pilots and is a tour guitde to Israel, besides being a musician. Public welcome.

Trinity Lutheran Church

The first summer Singspiration will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Holton. Special music and a congregational sing and fellowship time following in the church narthex. Rolling Hills Christian Church

Vacation Bible School for children 3 years through sixth grade will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday through Aug. 1 at Rolling Hills Christian Church, 4530 N.W. Hiawatha Place, N.W. 46th anmd US-75 Hwy. Theme for the week will be "Bug Safari: Where Kids Catch the Buzz about God's Love." Bible school opens with a cookout and games at 5 p.m. Sunday; and offers a closing program beginning at 8 p.m. Aug. 1.

Kansas Avenue United Methodist Church

Vacation Bible School theme "God's Great Gallery" will be from 6:30- 8:30 pm. July 29-Aug. 2, at Topeka Rescue Mission, 600 N. Kansas Ave. Classes will include preshool to adults. For information, call Kathi Baenig, director, 266-2312.

Second Presbyterian Church

A women's brunch will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10 in the fellowship hall. This gathering marks the beginning of the new church year. Newcomers welcome to come learn about Presbyterian Women Bible Study.

Second Presbyterian Church

Annual church wide Ice Cream Social begins at 4 p.m. Aug. 11 on the church lawn. Bring a frezer of ice cream or a sweet item to share. Sponsored by the Presbyterian Mariners.
