Topeka Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2401 S.W. Jewell, will have a Pioneer Children's Activity at 10 a.m. today.

The Christian Neighborhood Center, 1407 S. Kansas Ave., will have a barbecue and Christian concert at 6 p.m. today. A free dinner will be provided.

Business Men's Fellowship INT at 6:30 p.m. today at Lamont Hill Resort. Meeting will follow at 7:30 p.m. Guest speaker is Richard Bair.

Calvary Baptist Church, 433 S.W. Harrison, will have evangelism services at 7 p.m. today and Sunday. Today's speaker will be the Rev. Delmar White with the Antioch Baptist Church Choir. The Rev. W.L. Templeton and the Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church Choir will present on Sunday.

New Mount Zion Baptist Church, 2801 S.E. Indiana, will have its Annual All Circles' Day at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. E. Bernard Hurd will speak.

Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church Usher Board and Health Workers, 610 S.E. Lime, will observe Annual Day at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. The theme will be "Having A Good Christian Beatitude." The Rev. Tony Carter Jr. and the Salem Baptist Church, Kansas City, Kan., will be guests.

Rossville Christian Church, 411 Spruce, will have a fellowship supper for Scott Hultgren, associate minister of youth, at 5:30 p.m. Sunday. After 10 years as the youth minister, Hultgren and his family will move to Rapid City, S.D.

Genesis Summer Music Camp will be Aug. 5 to 13 at West Side Christian Church, 432 S.W. Lindenwood. The camp will teach students how to read notes on the staff, count rhythms, learn the letters of the keys on the piano, play three songs and more. Linda Smith will be camp teacher and director. The class will be from 9 to 11:30 a.m. for 7- to 9-year-olds and from 12:45 to 3:15 p.m. for 10- to 12-year- olds. Cost is $25. Register by Monday by calling Linda Smith at 232- 9175.

Lunch Bunch, a support group for people experiencing difficulties in their lives, will meet from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, 600 S.W. Topeka Blvd.

The Golden 55 Plus Club will meet at noon Friday at North Rock Baptist Temple, 2322 N.E. Laurent. Covered-dish luncheon and message.

West Side Baptist Church, 1008 S.W. 4th, will have a carnival, prizes and hot dogs from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday.

Community Health Fair will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Aug. 3 at Western Hills Baptist Church, 2900 S.W. Auburn Road. Representatives on hand will be from Stormont-Vail Health Care, American Red Cross, Washburn University, Shawnee County Health Department, as well as fire truck, police vehicle, ambulance, CSB disaster relief team and the Community Blood Center of Topeka. Vacation Bible school

First Christian Church, 1880 S.W. Gage Blvd., will have "Bug Safari" vacation Bible school from 5:50 to 8:15 p.m. Sunday through Thursday. Sandwich supper will be available for $2 at 5:15 p.m. each evening in Picnic Place. Registration cost is $5.

Central Congregational Church, 1248 S.W. Buchanan, will have vacation Bible school from 8 a.m. to noon Aug. 5-9 for ages 5 and up. Reservation fee is $5 per child. The theme will be "Brave Believers."

Kansas Avenue United Methodist Church vacation Bible school --- with the theme "God's Great Gallery" --- will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at Topeka Rescue Mission, 600 N. Kansas Ave. Classes will include preschool to adults. Call 266-2312.

West Side Baptist Church, 1008 S.W. 4th, will have vacation Bible school --- with the theme "Jonah's Journey" --- from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Aug. 3.

Southwest Topeka Bible Church, 4141 S.W. 53rd, will have Celebration Park Vacation Bible School from 6:45 to 8:30 p.m. Aug. 4 to 8. Children age 3 through the sixth grade are invited. Call 232- 5924.

Dover Federated Church will have vacation Bible school from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 5-9 at Camp Daisy for those who have completed kindergarten through fifth grade. Special junior high camp for those who have completed grades 6 through 8. Call 256-6020.

Speakers

Dr. Jim Anderson will speak at the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday at Bethel Baptist Church, 4011 N. Kansas Ave. Dr. Anderson works with the "Angel Aircraft Corporation," an organization that helps promote, seeks underwriting for and provides aircraft for various nonprofit missionary organizations.

The Rev. David Newberry of Zambia, Africa, will speak at 6 p.m. Sunday at Light of the World Christian Center, 3301 S.W. Gage Boulevard. Nursery and children's ministry are provided. Call 271- 1010.

Jim Wadley will speak on "Lessons learned from past and present pioneers of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" at 7 p.m. at the home of Bob Clawson, 900 S.W. 24th. People ages 18 to 30 are welcome to attend.

Refreshments will be provided following the presentation.

Music

The True Vine Women Warriors will sponsor a musical "A Feast of Songs," at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the True Vine Missionary Baptist Church, 307 S.E. Tefft.

El Shaddai Church of God in Christ Praise Team will perform at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Gage Park Baptist Church outdoor concert, 3601 S.W. 10th. Food and beverages available for sale at 6:30 p.m. If inclement weather, concert will be in the sanctuary. Bring lawn chairs. Call 272-7771.
