Youths from the Kansas East Conference of the United Methodist Church will share their experiences from "Institute 2002" at 8:30 and 11 a.m. Sunday at Countryside UMC, 3221 S.W. Burlingame.
Calvary Chapel Bible Church in Lawrence will move its service to the Holiday Inn Express, 3411 Iowa, beginning at 10 a.m. Sunday. Call (785) 841-5447 for more information.

Vacation Bible schools
Trinity Presbyterian Church and Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church will have their vacation Bible schools from 6 to 8:30 p.m., Sunday through Friday. The theme will be Brave Believers, and children pre- kindergarten through sixth grade are welcome to attend. Call 272- 2620 to register.
Gage Park Baptist Church, 3601 S.W. 10th, will have its vacation Bible school titled "Bug Safari" from 6 to 8:30 p.m. weekdays. For more information, call 272-7771.
Calvary Lutheran Church, 4211 N.W. Topeka Blvd., will have its vacation Bible school from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday. Meals will be served at 6 p.m. For more information, call 286-1431.
Food and fund-raisers
The St. Mark A.M.E., 801 N.W. Harrison, women's missionary society will have a fish fry and chicken feed at 11 a.m. today. Cost will be $8 for fish dinner and $6 for the chicken dinner. Call 232-0709 for more information.
Central Park Christian Church, 1535 S.W. Clay, will have a craft, bake and rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Aug. 10. Proceeds will be used to fund youth group activities. Call 286-0810 for more information.
First Christian Church, 1880 S.W. Gage Blvd., will have a garage sale from 7 a.m. to noon Aug. 10. A bake sale will be from 7 to 11 a.m. in conjunction with the garage sale. Call 862-7367 for more information.
Speakers
Evangelist Eleanor Lancaster will be the guest speaker at special services beginning at 11 a.m. Sunday at The House of the Lord, 2531 Wittenberg. Services will continue Tuesday through Thursday at 7 p.m. each night. For more information, call 266-LOVE.
The 48th annual All Circles Day will take place at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 610 S.E. Lime, on Sunday with the theme "The Fruit of the Spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, Long-suffering, Gentleness, Faith." The Rev. Leroy Holmes, of the Galilee Baptist Church, will give the message, and music will be provided by the Galilee choir. Call 234- 4422 for more information.
The ninth annual God's Family Convention will take place at 4 p.m. Sunday and continued at 7:30 p.m. beginning Monday through Aug. 10 at Faith Temple Church of God in Christ, 1162 S.W. Lincoln. The theme of the convention will be "Anointed & Appointed: Watch and Let the Vision Unfold." For more information, call 235-1834.
The Kingdom Building Conference 2002 will take place at Abundance of Life Cathedral of Praise Church of God in Christ, 1239 S.W. Western, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Jack C. Vaughn speaking.
The conference will include a luncheon at 11:30 a.m. and a concert at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 10.

The Messengers Quartet will be in concert at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the Potwin Presbyterian Church. Call 354-8082 for more information.
Garden of Grace, will take place at 7 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, 3033 S.W. MacVicar. June Murphy from Topeka Bible Church will be the featured guest. In addition to singing contemporary Christian music, Murphy will give her testimony on overcoming an abusive life. For more information, call 267-0380.
