Other survivors include a son, Jim Weisgerber, Topeka; a daughter, Mary May, North Richland Hills, Texas; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sunrise Presbyterian Church in Salina. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery in Salina. Mr. Weisgerber will lie in state from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ryan Mortuary in Salina, where relatives and friends will meet from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, Kansas Wesleyan University or Sunrise Presbyterian Church in Salina, 67401.

Josephine Wright

OSAGE CITY --- Josephine D. Wright, 84, Osage City, died Monday, Aug. 26, 2002, at home.

She was born Oct. 6, 1917, in Amarillo, Texas, to Frank and Jennie Josephine Cunningham Davis. She lived in Washburn, Texas, before she moved to Lyon County in 1928. She spent most of her life in Osage City, where she worked at Osage Bakery and at several restaurants. She worked for Hallmark Paper Products in Osage City before she retired in 1980.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the auxiliary to Heizer Post No. 198 of the American Legion, both in Osage City.

She married Harvey E. Wright on June 25, 1935, in Emporia. He died June 18, 1982. An infant son, Harvey Duane Wright, died in 1936.

Survivors include a son, Leroy Wright, The Colony, Texas; a daughter, Sheila Curley, Osage City; a sister, Ida May Graves, Emporia; five grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; and 11 stepgreat-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Crable Funeral Chapel in Osage City. Burial will be in Osage City Cemetery. Mrs. Wright will lie in state from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scout Troop No. 106 or the United Methodist Church, both in Osage City, 66523.
