Christ the King Catholic Church in Topeka formed the setting for the wedding of Nicole Syens and Greg Hiszczynskyj on July 12, 2002.

The Rev. Norbert Lickteig officiated at the 6 p.m. service.

The bride is the daughter of Julie and Steven Fuller of Gardner and the granddaughter of Lola Cowdin, Eudora.

The bridegroom is the son of Dr. Roman and Sherry Hiszczynskyj of Topeka and the grandson of Carol Basgall, Topeka.

Amanda Huffman was the matron of honor. The bridesmaid was Shianne Cuny.

Wade Williamson was best man. Jason Neal was the groomsman.

Caitie Syens was the flower girl. John Henderson was the ring bearer. The lectors were Tim Henderson and Ann Henderson. The ushers were Andrew Syens and Aleck Syens.

A reception followed at the Capitol Plaza Hotel.

The bride attended Free State High School in Lawrence.

The groom is a graduate of Washburn Rural High School, Education America and Topeka Technical School with an associate degree in computer information systems.

The newlyweds honeymooned on a cruise through the inside passage of Alaska. They reside in Topeka.

The Rev. Charles Benton officiated at the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of the Rev. Michael and the Rev. Sharlan Graber of Leonardville. Parents of the bridegroom are Keith and Barbara Banman of Goessel.

Gloria Graber, Topeka, was her sister's maid of honor. Aaron Banman, New York City, was his brother's best man.

The newlyweds live in Lawrence.

The bride is the daughter of Steven and Kelly Neske of Topeka. The bridegroom is the son of Gail Shipley, Martinsville, Ind., and Jeff Zamrzla, Topeka.

Krista Neske, Topeka, was maid of honor. Chris Rose, Topeka, was best man.

A reception followed in the Garden House at Lake Shawnee.

The bride is a dental assistant and the groom is an electrician with Heartland Electric.

The newlyweds honeymooned in Kansas City. They reside in Topeka.

The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Pam Smith of Whiting. The bridegroom is the son of Cathy and Russell Myers of Lancaster and Dennis Cohorst of Rushville, Mo.

Andrea F. Day, Emporia, was matron of honor. Jason Wohlgemuth, Easton, was best man.

The newlyweds live in Atchison.

The bridegroom is the son of Sarah and Kent Crownover of Burlingame and Eddie and Pam Noonan of Burlingame.

Attending the bride were Laura Richard, Austin, Texas, and Bridget Middleton, Burlingame.

Serving as best men were Travis Ford, Lawrence, and Travis Middleton, Burlingame.

The newlyweds reside in Burlingame.

The bride is the daughter of Bill and Judy Allman of Topeka and the granddaughter of Jack and Mary Allman of Topeka.

The bridegroom is the son of Mike and Ellen Weiglein of Audubon, N.J., and the grandson of Doris Weiglein of Cherry Hill, N.J.

The bride's attendants were Nicole Malott, Topeka; Ginger Allman, Wichita; Connie Edmonston, Wichita; Michelle Hubbard, Mullica Hill, N.J.; Jennifer Judson, Bristol, Tenn.; and Catharine Weiglein, Washington, N.J.

Attending the groom were Michael Nolan, Marlton, N.J.; Anthony Albanese, Washington, N.J.; Bruce Allman, Wichita; Robert Barton, Fort Knox, Ky.; Kevin Chyzanowski, Mount Ephraim, N.J.; and Scott Hubbard, Mullica Hill.

Marta Miles, Topeka, was at the guest book. The soloist was Mary Swenson, Lindsborg. Peggy Kerr, Kingsport, was the organist. Serving as cantors were Patrice and Richard Roe of Washington, D.C.

A reception, dinner and dance followed at Allandale Mansion in Kingsport.

The bride is a graduate of Washburn Rural High School and attended Kansas State University. She is a senior at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City pursuing a degree in business administration and accounting. She is employed as an administrative assistant at the Upper East Tennessee Human Development Agency in Kingsport.
