Baseball
Last week's results: Class 4A regional: beat Atchison, 11-1; beat Royal Valley, 6-5 (8); lost to Hayden, 9-4.
Worth noting: Holton scored three times in the seventh to force extra innings with Royal Valley before winning in the eighth on Keenan VanZile's single. Holton finished runner-up at regionals for the fourth time in the last five years, ending with a 15-6 mark.
Golf
Last week's results: Class 4A regional: 3rd, 322.
Top performers: Ryan Bechard, 5th, 75; Kyle Sipe, 82; Tim Sipe, 82.
Worth noting: Holton missed qualifying for state by two strokes.
Softball
Last week's results: Class 4A regional: beat Perry-Lecompton, 3- 0.
Worth noting: The Wildcats blanked Perry to reach the semifinals of today's regional at Royal Valley. Holton faces two-time defending 4A champion Hayden at 4:30 p.m.

Worth noting: Davis qualified for Tuesday's state meet at Buffalo Dunes in Garden City, shooting a 35 on the back nine to earn his berth.

Worth noting: The Tigers were no-hit by Hayden.

Worth noting: The Vikings cruised through their regional to qualify for next week's 2-1A state tournament in Emporia, needing just 10 innings for the two wins. Mission Valley is 20-2 on the season.
