Renner joins Association Management --- Keri Renner has been hired as communications director of Association Management Inc. and Kearney and Associates Inc. in Topeka.

AMI provides management of professional and trade associations in Kansas, and Kearney and Associates performs lobbying and governmental affairs. Renner will be in charge of design and maintenance of association Web sites and creating association newsletters and legislative reports, and will serve as a media liaison.

Renner has a bachelor's degree in mass media with an emphasis in public relations from Washburn University.

Renner and her husband, Chuck, will reside in Topeka.

Traylor new associate --- Bryan Traylor has been hired as sales associate for the Holiday Inn West Holidome, 605 S.W. Fairlawn.

He coordinates sales relating to corporate and private events where meeting space or sleeping rooms are desired. Traylor was previously employed by Union Station Kansas City in public relations. He has a bachelor's degree in communications from Washburn University. He served in the U.S. Army.

He resides in Lawrence.

Rhoads joins Nails Etc. --- Christina Rhoads has joined Nails Etc. in Gage Center, 1301 S.W. Gage, as a cosmetologist. Rhoads specializes in all hair services as well as body waxing.

Creative Business Solutions adds one --- Roger Schweppe recently joined Creative Business Solutions as a senior systems engineer. In this new position, Schweppe will provide customers with installation and ongoing support for the ABRA and Traverse products.

Schweppe has more than 20 years experience in client server and Web development. Before joining Creative Business Solutions, he held technical positions at Security Benefit Group, PDA, Federal Home Loan Bank and Payless ShoeSource.

Goodall named president --- Nancy Goodall has been named president of Central National Bank, 800 S.E. Quincy.

Goodall joined Central National Bank in 1999 after spending 10 years in the trust banking field.

Goodall received an undergraduate degree from the University of Miami, a law degree from Washburn University School of Law and a master's degree in law with an emphasis in tax law from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She holds full-service brokerage licenses (Series 7 and Series 66) and is a licensed insurance agent.

She was a research attorney for Chief Justice McFarland at the Kansas Supreme Court before practicing with Fisher, Patterson, Sayler and Smith.

Wanke appointed deputy commissioner --- George Wanke has been appointed deputy commissioner of prevention and community programs for the Kansas Juvenile Justice Authority.

A Topeka native, he most recently worked in Minnesota as clinical director of Lutheran Social Services. Previously, he had been director of Wyandot Mental Health Center's outreach office; clinical director of Heart of America Family Service's Kansas City, Kan., office; director of case management services for Wyandotte County's Community Corrections for Youth; and assistant director of the Menninger Clinic's Adolescent Day Treatment Center.

Photographer opens business --- Earl Richardson has opened Earl Richardson Photography, 713 Missouri, Lawrence, offering location photography to corporate and editorial clients in northeast Kansas. He works with digital and film images.

Richardson has worked for the Kansas City Star, Columbia Daily Tribune and Lawrence Journal-World and most recently was photo director at The Topeka Capital-Journal.

He has a bachelor's degree in journalism from The University of Kansas.

Juvenile facility promotes, hires --- The Topeka Juvenile Correctional Facility has promoted one staff member and hired a counselor and two corrections officers.

Harold Neville was promoted to a juvenile corrections officer II. Neville has been employed with the TJCF since November. Before that, he was a counselor and mental health worker. He has an associate degree and is a licensed alcohol and drug counselor.

Jennifer Whitmore was hired as a substance abuse counselor. She previously worked for Hume Music as a bookkeeper for seven years. Whitmore has a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and a certificate in alcohol and drug abuse counseling.

Julie Davis was hired as a juvenile corrections officer I. Previously, Davis worked for Florence Crittenton Services and Children Sq. USA. She is studying criminal justice and sociology at Washburn University.
