Hunter-Dailey

Alicia Ann Hunter became the bride of Jared Andrew Dailey in a 7:30 p.m. ceremony Sept. 12, 2003, at Northland Christian Church in Topeka.

The Rev. Dan Muzzy officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Roger and Karen Hunter, Topeka. She is the granddaughter of Clarence and Wilma Hogan, Waterville, and Dale Hunter, Eudora, and the late Ruth Hunter.

The bridegroom is the son of Vicki Coulter and Bruce Dailey, both of Topeka. He is the grandson of James and Ruth Dailey, Indiana, and the late Jack and Evelyn Beaman.

Jennifer Crawford was maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Angel Simmons and Danielle Stenger.

Jeffery Dailey was best man. The groomsmen were Vance Allen and Jeffery Farrar.

Lisa Hogan, Waterville, was the flower girl. Emily Hogan, Marysville, was the ring bearer. The ushers were Jason Morris, Tyler Burgen and Jason Stout. Vicky Kesler was at the guest book.

A reception followed at the Moose Lodge.

The bride is a graduate of Seaman High School.

The groom is a graduate of Shawnee Heights High School. He is serving in the U.S. Army.

The newlyweds live in Fayetteville, N.C.

Grimes-Ritter

Kari Grimes became the bride of Scott Ritter on May 31, 2003, at Countryside United Methodist Church in Topeka.

Dr. Norton C. Ritter, father of the bridegroom, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Linda Grimes and Gary Grimes, both of Topeka. Parents of the bridegroom are Susan Schmitz, Topeka, and Dr. Norton C. Ritter, Shawnee.

Jodi Yerta was matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Jancy Grimes, Kelly Green, Natalie Mitchell, Jessi Tipton and Danielle Whayne.

Rob Ritter was best man. The groomsmen were Bret Church, James Mick, Craig Weishaar, Todd Grimes and Adam Mills.

Emmy Grimes and Isabel Grimes, sisters of the bride, were the flower girls. The ring bearer was Trey Yerta. The ushers were Shane Wells, stepbrother of the groom; Jeremy Piland, cousin of the bride; and Charlie Green.

The readers were Nick and Tracy Evans, cousin of the bride. The guest book attendant was Jan Dreisewerd. Barb Thompson gave printed programs to the guests. The vocalists were Natalie Mitchell and Ricke Yerta.

Students of the bride and groom gave bubble liquid to the guests. The students and their siblings served as helpers.

A wedding reception followed at Washburn University.

The couple are employed at Scott Computer Technology Magnet School in Topeka, where the bride is a second-grade teacher and the groom is a third-grade teacher.

The newlyweds honeymooned on a cruise in the western Caribbean. They reside in Topeka.

Oom-Witherspoon

Michelle Suzanne Oom, formerly of Sabetha, and James Taylor Witherspoon, Sherman, Texas, were united in marriage at 7 p.m. Sept. 13, 2003, at Parkview Church of Christ in Sherman.

The Rev. Timothy Tarbet officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Rob and Marcia Oom, Sabetha. The groom is the son of James and Patricia Witherspoon, Sherman.

Bobbi Oom, Sabetha, was her sister's maid of honor. Joel Witherspoon, Sherman, uncle of the groom, was best man. Music was sung a cappella by Kristina Oom, sister of the bride, who sang the processional, the recessional and the song, "Butterfly Kisses."

The newlyweds reside at 2300 W. Taylor, Apt. 401, in Sherman, Texas, 75092. A reception in Kansas is being planned for 2004.

Reed-McMillan-

Holdeman

Rachel Beth Reed and Mark Arthur McMillan-Holdeman were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 7, 2003, at Faith Church of the Nazarene in Des Moines, Iowa.

The Rev. Warren Rogers officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Myron and Carol Reed, Wakarusa, and the late Kathy A. Reed.

Parents of the groom are Katina and Lucky Mantz, Ochelata, Okla., and Mark McMillan and Dede McMillan, Bartlesville, Okla.

Heather Anderson, Des Moines, was maid of honor. Rick Green, Des Moines, was best man.

The newlyweds reside in Des Moines.

Anderson-Henderson

Lindsay Anderson and Bryan Henderson were united in marriage Aug. 30, 2003, at Assumption Catholic Church in Topeka.

The Rev. John Rossiter officiated at the 1 p.m. service.

The bride is the daughter of Charles and Beverly Anderson, Topeka. Parents of the bridegroom are Linda and Sonnie Rose, Lansing, and Larry and Pam Henderson, Leavenworth.

Raven Anderson was her sister's maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Kim Haverkamp, Kelli Esser, Miranda Foster and Jill Tuck.

Serving as best men were Mike Preisinger and Clay Morriss. The groomsmen were Mark Davidson, Chad Ernzan and Jay Kimbrough.

A reception followed at the Holiday Inn West Holidome.

The bride is employed as a personal banking assistant at First Bank of Medicine Lodge and the groom is a police officer employed by the city of Prairie Village.

After a honeymoon trip to Oahu, Hawaii, the newlyweds are at home in Roeland Park.

Rossillon-Marten

Annette M. Rossillon, of Holton, and Brian L. Marten, of Onaga, were united in marriage July 26, 2003, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Burlington with the Rev. Michael Hawken officiating.
