The following high school reunions have been scheduled:
- Carbondale High School --- Alumni Banquet, May 29, at Carbondale Grade School. The hospitality room will open at 5 p.m. A meal will be served at 6:30 p.m. The class of 1954 will be honored. Make reservations by May 26 with Jean Roberts at (785) 836-7248 or Ruth Hug at (785) 836-7273.
- Delia School Reunion --- 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. June 6, Delia Grade School. A potluck lunch will be at noon. Those attending should bring a salad or dessert. Meat and drinks will be furnished. For information, call Don Hladky at 286-1811.
- Seaman High School class of 1989 --- 15-year reunion, Aug. 14, Croco Hall, 6115 S.E. US-40 highway. Those who would like to help plan should contact Terri Gentry Ward at 862-8217 or Kristine Hiebsch Romine at 233-3468.
- Highland Park High School class of 1974 --- 30-year reunion on Aug. 6 and 7. Scheduled plans include: 7 to 11 p.m. Aug. 6, Fraternal Order of Police Lodge No. 3, 2649 S.E. 45th St., casual dress, no host bar (B.Y.O.B.) and snacks and finger foods furnished; 6 p.m. to midnight Aug. 7, Croco Hall, 6115 S.E. US-40 highway, casual dress, and food and drinks furnished.

Kaw Valley quilters to meet
The Capital-Journal
The Kaw Valley Quilters Guild will meet at 7 p.m. today and 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the meeting room of Plymouth Congregational Church in Lawrence. Moneca Calvert, quilt artist, designer and teacher, will speak to members and their guests.
Calvert also will conduct a two-day workshop on "Cool and Curvy Clamshells" from 1 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday. The workshop is open to the public.
