Awards: Sixth Annual Chickadee Checkoff Photography Award by Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, 1990; recognized by Kansas House of Representatives for photography and books, January 1999; Conservation Communicator of the Year by the Kansas Wildlife Federation, 2000
