Not alone on road
Interestingly, Donavene Liggett (letters, Aug. 11) complained about Barack Obama's recent trip to the Mideast and Europe. She said it was the first presidential campaign she has seen taken abroad.
Apparently, she has selective memory. Since clinching the Republican nomination, John McCain has traveled to all the places Obama visited -- plus Colombia, Mexico and Canada.
