Then I began to wonder how many thousands of soldiers, marines and airmen Sen. Roberts put in harm's way by his actions and inactions while chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee.
Then I began to wonder if, after 40 years in Washington, Sen. Roberts would or could offer a much-needed fresh outlook to help a new president cope with the many horrendous problems facing this nation.
Just wondering.
