Fidelity elects director

Charles Q. "Charlie" Chandler IV, of Wichita, has been elected a director of Fidelity State Bank & Trust in Topeka, replacing his father, Charles Q. "Chuck" Chandler, III who died recently, said Anderson Chandler, chairman and president of Fidelity State Bank & Trust.
Charles Chandler also was elected to the board of directors of Fidelity Kansas Bankshares Inc., the bank holding company.
Charles Chandler is chairman of Westar Energy in Topeka. In 1996, he was elected chairman and president of INTRUST Bank becoming the fourth generation of Chandlers to lead the bank. He also is a director in First National Bank in Pratt.
Charles Chandler received a degree in business administration from Kansas State University in 1975 and an MBA from Northwestern University in 1976.
