Topeka-area residents have another choice for their television service.
AT&T has launched U-verse TV in Topeka, which the company is delivering over the Internet at an entry cost of $44 per month, said Kris Ryan, general manager for AT&T Kansas and Missouri.
The service has been available in the Kansas City area and Wichita, but now is being rolled out in Topeka.
Plans carry anywhere from 70 channels to 400 channels.
Not all homes in Topeka can get the service immediately.
