Stormont-Vail Health Care has arranged for several parking locations for its public open house today of its new $50 million Emergency and Trauma Center.
The open house will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today. Entrance will be from the north side of the building.
Nancy Burkhardt, director of marketing, said some parking will be available in the vicinity of S.W. 8th and Horne, near the entrance. But many people will need to use satellite parking locations at S.W. 8th and Washburn and at S.W. 8th and Lane -- the Cotton-O'Neil Cancer and Digestive Health Centers. Shuttles will be available to carry people from outlying parking areas to the emergency center.
The public will be given tours of the new facility, with special treats and entertainment for children.
