Daily Record (Rochester, NY), Aug 6, 2002 by Daily Record Staff

New York State Senator Richard Dollinger will run for Monroe County Court.

Dollinger a 22 year lawyer and 15 year public servant will run on the Democratic Party line in the November 2002 general election. A 10 year veteran of the state Senate, Dollinger declined to seek re- election to the Senate. As a member of the Senate he has served on the Senate Codes and Judiciary Committees, participating in changes to the state's penal law and criminal law procedures.

He received a "recommended" rating from the Monroe County Bar Association and is currently under evaluation by the Greater Rochester Association for Women Attorneys.

"I have a decade of votes that reflect my views on New York's criminal justice system," Dollinger said. "My passion for justice, my drive to excel in public service, my knowledge -- gained through a decade in the Senate -- of the entire criminal justice system and my skills as an attorney will make me a good County Court judge."
