U of Buffalo alumni chapter offers continuing legal ed course

Did you know that over 700 University at Buffalo Law School graduates practice in Rochester? The Rochester Alumni Chapter of UB Law School will be drawing from its talent by presenting a four credit (transitional and non-transitional) Ethics Seminar on September 27, 2002, at the Appellate Division, Fourth Department, from noon until 4 p.m. The speakers and their topics are:

uHonorable Eugene F. Pigott, Jr., Presiding Justice, Appellate Division, Fourth Department ("A View From The Bench");

uDenise O'Donnell, Esq., of Hodgson, Russ in Buffalo, president- elect of the Alumni Association and the first female U.S. attorney in the history of the Western District of New York ("Sarbanes-Oxley Act - - Turning Attorneys into Whistleblowers");

uAnthony H. Szczygiel, professor of law, University at Buffalo Law School ("How Attorneys Get Into Trouble"); and

uRichard F. Alexander, Esq., Harter, Secrest & Emery LLP, immediate past chair of the Seventh Judicial District Grievance Committee, New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department ("The Nuts and Bolts of the Attorney Grievance Process.")

Lunch will be provided. Tuition for the seminar will be $50 for members of the UB Alumni Association and $75 for non-members.
