Daily Record (Rochester, NY), Dec 30, 2003 by Staff
Nixon Peabody, LLP is expanding its office at Clinton Square in Rochester. The firm has signed a new lease for 13,000 sq. ft. of office space, which is in addition to the 121,000 sq. ft. of space it currently occupies in the building.
The new lease, for part of the fourth floor, will run concurrently with the firm's existing lease, expiring in 2010. Nixon Peabody is located on floors 9-14 as well. Clinton Square is managed by Home Properties.
Even as Nixon Peabody has grown into a national firm, said Harry Trueheart III, the firm's chairman, CEO and co-managing partner, it has retained its vigorous commitment to the Rochester community. This new lease is an illustration of the continued growth we anticipate and the role our firm will always play as counselors to the area's leading companies and institutions.
David Schraver, the managing partner in Rochester, added: Nixon Peabody is part of the fabric of Rochester. We will continue to assist those involved in the region's economic development and civic life. Our growth nationally has enabled us to offer a depth and breadth of resources to clients in Rochester and throughout upstate New York that will contribute a positive outlook for the future.
With over 120 attorneys, Nixon Peabody's Rochester office is one of the largest law offices in upstate New York. The Rochester Chamber of Commerce recently named it the International Service Provider of the Year.
