Phillips Lytle Counsel to present at Genesee Valley HR mgmt. society

Jackie Phipps Polito, special counsel with Phillips Lytle LLP will present at The Society for Human Resource Management, Genesee Valley Chapter Dec. 8 workshop, titled People Assessment Tools: Successfully Using Them for Hiring, Promoting, Performance Coaching and Development Planning.
Polito will offer insight into the legal implications of applying these tools, including when they are important to use and when you may need to exercise caution in their use. Polito concentrates her practice at Phillips Lytle in the areas of commercial and employment litigation. She counsels corporate clients in a wide range of employment matters and defends corporations and municipalities against a variety of wrongful termination claims.
Polito also represents municipalities in various labor-related matters from negotiating a collective bargaining agreement to defending an unfair labor practice claim. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Albany Law School of Union University and her B.A., cum laude, from State University of New York at Binghamton.
