Volunteers needed for Flower City Habitat for Humanity program

Daily Record (Rochester, NY), Mar 7, 2008

Flower City Habitat for Humanity (FCHH) is seeking several dozen volunteers to assist with moving inventory from its current ReStore to a newly-refurbished location on Culver Road near East Main Street, according a release from FCHH.

Moving dates are March 25 to 26 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Volunteers, who will be the first to see the new store, will assist with loading and unloading trucks and placement of items around the store.

Expected to open some time in April, the new ReStore will enable FCHH to offer its ever-growing inventory of home improvement, home remodeling and building items in a more organized, spacious and customer-friendly facility.

Volunteers must sign up in advance and lunch will be provided. For more information call (585) 546-1470 ext. 304 by March 21.
