Maplewood Nursing and Rehabilitation hired Brenda Lindsay-Earle as a registered nurse evening supervisor. She is responsible for assisting with orientation and instruction of other nurses, including ongoing evaluation of staff performance. She also will assess residents' needs, condition and care and develop nursing care plans for residents.
SWBR Architects recently announced that Nicole Rogers, a design technician, received her LEED, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, certification, offered through the U.S. Green Building Council. This certification recognizes those who complete the necessary training, education and testing to apply green architecture standards to designs.
Canandaigua National Bank and Trust announced Barb Finch, vice president of banking operations, was selected as the 2008 recipient of the Arthur S. Hamlin Award for Excellence. The award, given in memory of past President and Chairman Arthur S. Hamlin, recognizes exceptional performance, outstanding contributions to the community and dedication to CNB.
Harter Secrest & Emery LLP hired Jay Quinn as director of marketing and client services. He is responsible for leading and executing the firm's marketing, advertising, public relations, brand management and client services initiatives.
EPIC Advisors Inc. promoted Neil Steffen to senior vice president and chief information manager. He will continue to oversee all systems and information processing technology, including recordkeeping, Web and platform applications. He also will be responsible for coordinating data security and risk management controls.
Hiscock & Barclay LLP announced that Don Twietmeyer, an attorney with the firm, recently was honored with the 2008 Pauley Award from the Monroe County Bar Center for Education at the Monroe County Bar Association's annual Installation Dinner. The Pauley Award is given annually by the Center for Education and the Academy of Law to a person who demonstrates an exemplary dedication to education in the profession.
E.J. Del Monte Corp. hired Natalie Miller at the Fairfield Inn Airport, Rochester. Miller is a front desk supervisor and will oversee the front desk staff. She also is responsible for checking guests in and out, payroll, invoices and scheduling.
Dixon Schwabl hired Megan Sperber, Wayne Gormont, Jennifer Bergin and Ian Auch. Sperber was hired as a mechanical artist to assist and support art directors and the creative team in mechanical and design work. Gormont was hired as a Web developer and is responsible for Web programming and coding as well as database management, query creation and optimization. Bergin was hired as a copywriter, and is responsible for developing campaign concepts and creative copy for integrated marketing programs. Auch was hired as a multimedia/ motion graphics designer and will advise on, plan and implement projects involving digital presentation including three-dimensional and motion graphics.
Bausch & Lomb announced that John W. Sheets Jr. was hired as corporate vice president and chief technology officer and will lead the company's global research and development efforts. Sheets has more than 25 years experience in the medical device industry, with a specialization in ophthalmic research and development.
Tastefully Simple Inc. promoted Jodi Ciccarelli and Patty Willerton as team managers. They earned their promotions through sales achievements and by adding new consultants to their teams.
1st Priority Mortgage Inc. announced that Ken Wojnowski was hired as a sales manager, an expansion of his role as regional manager. His territory now covers Buffalo, Rochester and Ithaca, and he will recruit and help to train new mortgage consultants.
