C.L. Boyd Co. Named John Deere Gold Level Dealer

C.L. Boyd Co. of Oklahoma City is among 16 of 139 John Deere construction equipment dealers in the country to be recognized as a Gold Level dealer in the John Deere 1994 Mark of Excellence program.

C.L. Boyd began business in Guthrie in 1913 and is the oldest continuously operated construction equipment dealer in Oklahoma. The company has its main office at 4220 W. Reno Ave. and a branch location in Lawton. Robert Crews is president of C.L. Boyd. Jim Meisner is vice president-sales, and Greg Robertson is general product support manager. Charcoal Oven Wins `Lookin' Good' Award

Charcoal Oven drive-in restaurants, 2701 Northwest Expressway and 5911 Northwest Expressway, were presented the "Lookin' Good" award for May. David Wilson, owner of the restaurants, was presented the award, sponsored by Oklahoma City Beautiful. Trade Group to Discuss Alternatives to Direct Exporting

Oklahoma City businessman Charles E. Wiggin will be inaugurated as Germany's new honorary consul for Oklahoma Friday at the State Capitol. Wiggin will be inaugurated by Dr. Klaus Aurisch, consul general of the Federal Republic of Germany. The ceremony also will mark the retirement of Dr. Walter Massion, who has served as Germany's honorary consul for the state since 1980.
