Between a rock and a Trump

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) -- Donald J. Trump said he has broken off talks aimed at converting his Trump's Castle Casino Resort into a Hard Rock casino hotel. Trump has been searching for a way to boost the casino's flagging fortunes all year. In October, he said he was in talks with Rank Organization, the London-based parent of Hard Rock Cafe, to change the theme of the 728-room marina district property. On Monday, Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts -- Trump's publicly held casino company -- issued a news release saying it had cut off talks with Hard Rock.
