UPS beats them all
WASHINGTON (AP) -- United Parcel Service is the first airline to meet noise standards that take effect in 2000. UPS has converted all 197 of its jets to "Stage Three" standards designed to reduce by some 80 percent the number of people subjected to excessive noise around airports.
