Wilson acquires Greystoke Apartments for $650,000

Keith Wilson as Greystoke LLC has bought the 28-unit Greystoke Apartments at 4224 NW 42nd St. for $650,000 from Greystoke Apartments.

The luxury apartment complex located in the Penn Square area was originally built in 1967 as the 56-unit Pines Apartments, until it was destroyed by fire in the late 1980s. It was later reconstructed by Rick Hembree in the early 1990s.

The complex consists of 11 one-bedroom units and 17 two-bedroom units with rents ranging from $350 to $850 per month. Property amenities include a laundry faciility, recreation room, hot tub and tanning bed. Unit amenities include coded burglar alarms, spacesaver microwaves, marble entries, steel entry doors and fire surpression sprinklers. Financing was provided by Victor E. Guarry, senior vice president of Bank of Oklahoma. Wilson handled the transaction, while Jackie Hatton of American Guaranty Title closed the sale. Apartments sold Heckert Construction has acquired the Arrowhead Apartments in Pauls Valley from WMFMT Real Estate Limited Partnership for $800,000. The 64-unit complex has been in a renovation and lease up phase during the past two years. The construction of a Wal-Mart distribution facility nearby has resulted in increased demand for housing in the area. The facility should employ 500 people when completed.
