Stonebridge acquires Tulsa's Stalwart Group

DALLAS (JR) -- Stonebridge Technologies of Dallas has completed its acquisition of Tulsa-based The Stalwart Group.

Founded in 1995, Stalwart focuses on the education and mentoring of project teams and the management of projects within large corporations. Training programs offered by Stalwart include project team performance, managing successful projects, leadership skills, decision-making skills, continuous improvement of customer care and internal consulting skills.

Other services provided by Stalwart include direct mentoring of project teams and project managers, information technology project methodology development, and direct project management. Stalwart's major clients include numerous divisions of Williams, MCIWorldCom, United Video Satellite Group, Oneok and The Sabre Group. Robert E. Schooley, founder and president of The Stalwart Group, will join Stonebridge as its new practice director, education services. Prior to founding Stalwart, Schooley held the position of senior manager with Ernst & Young, responsible for their national training group, designing, developing and delivering programs for information systems, change management and project management. Prior to Ernst & Young, he was an information system teaching professor at Oklahoma State University, Memphis State University and San Diego State University, where he was twice named San Diego State's outstanding faculty member.
