Zebco buys Pinpoint Network Fishing Systems

TULSA (JR) -- Zebco, a division of Brunswick Corp., on Monday announced the acquisition of Pinpoint Network Fishing Systems.
Pinpoint and Zebco are both based in Tulsa. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The agreement joins the Pinpoint brand with Zebco's existing MotorGuide trolling motor line. All employees of Pinpoint will be retained by Zebco in Tulsa.
Founded in 1992 by Joe Mardesich Jr. in Silicon Valley, Calif., Pinpoint Network Fishing Systems pioneered the electronic integration of sonar, fishfinder and trolling motor technology. Pinpoint's patented integrated sonar and proprietary software allow the trolling motor's built-in transducers to read the terrain and automatically track depth contours, the shore line and creek channels.
Pinpoint's facilities will be evaluated for possible consolidation with MotorGuide's Tulsa facilities.
