Wynne named VP at First American

Bryan L. Wynne has been named vice president for commercial lending at First American Bank's Norman West/Goldsby banking center. Prior to joining First American Bank, Wynne was a senior examiner for the Oklahoma State Banking Department for 14 years.
MidFirst Bank
Jim Shaffer has been named first vice president of MidFirst Bank. He will continue managing the account and transaction processing functions of the bank operations department. Shaffer has been with MidFirst for more than 16 years.
Matt McLean, loan center manager, has been named first vice president of the of the Loan Center where he will continue to manage the mortgage production strategies and initiatives of the bank's residential mortgage lending. McLean has been with the bank for more than 10 years.
BancFirst
Richard Abston has been hired as the branch manager of BancFirst's south Penn location. Abston has 10 years' experience in the banking industry.
Federal Reserve
The Shamrock Bancshares Employee Stock Ownership Plan in Coalgate, Okla., has applied with the Federal Reserve for prior approval to become a bank-holding company through the acquisition of an additional 0.74 percent of voting shares, which will give the plan 25.08 percent of total voting shares of Shamrock Bancshares Inc. The acquisition of additional voting shares will allow the Shamrock Bancshares Employee Stock Ownership Plan to indirectly acquire First National Bank in Coalgate, First National Bank in Mountain View, Bryan County National Bank in Caddo, Clayton State Bank in Clayton, and First Bank of Apache.
First Okmulgee Corp. in Okmulgee has applied with the Federal Reserve for prior approval to acquire 8 percent of the initial issue of voting shares of Missouri Bancorp Inc. in Richmond, Mo.
J. David Burrage 1985 Trust (David Burrage, trustee) of Antlers, Okla., has applied with the Federal Reserve for approval to retain 25.34 percent of the voting shares of First Antlers Bancorpation in Antlers.
