Gay joins First American Bank as senior VP

Dee Ann Gay has been named senior vice president of First American Bank. Gay will serve as the banking center manager for the Moore Riverwalk location due to open later this year.
Gay has 26 years of financial banking experience. Prior to joining First American, she was with Will Rogers Bank serving as senior vice president and community bank manager in Moore.
SpiritBank
SpiritBank has celebrated its 85th birthday. The bank first opened its doors May 16, 1916, on the corner of 7th and Main in Bristow. The bank now has 12 total locations, including three branches in Tulsa, additional branches in Stroud and Depew, and a new location in Oklahoma City. The company has $400 million in assets and employs 260.
Medicare guides
Updated shoppers' guides for Medicare supplement insurance and long-term care insurance are now available from the Oklahoma Insurance Department. The guides are intended to aid senior citizens and the disabled Medicare in purchasing the insurance.
Both guides contain a comparison of rates charged by companies offering Medicare supplement insurance and long-term care insurance policies.
Guides may be picked up at the Oklahoma Insurance Department, 2401 NW 23rd St., Ste. 24, in Shepard Mall in Oklahoma City, or they can be picked up at health fairs throughout the state. The guides are published through the Oklahoma Insurance Department's Senior Health Insurance Counseling Program, which is funded by a federal grant.
Tinker Federal Credit Union
The Tinker Federal Credit Union's Miracle Car Show, held May 5, raised $4,352 for Credit Unions for Kids (Children's Miracle Network). The show drew 82 outstanding entries in 14 different categories, with two winners in each category.
The event was held at the credit union's administration headquarters. For this year's Children's Miracle Network telethon, Tinker Federal Credit Union donated $10,000.

Tinker Federal Credit Union has over $950 million in assets and 160,000 members.
Federal Reserve
The Federal Reserve Bank in Oklahoma City cleared more than $16.4 billion in checks in May, up 11.1 percent from the $14.7 billion cleared the prior year. However, May's total slipped 0.1 percent from the $16.43 billion cleared in April.
