TBX completes state well

Journal Record, The (Oklahoma City), Apr 4, 2002

DALLAS (JR) -- TBX Resources has completed drilling the first location in the Union City Prospect with total depth of 12,600 feet.

The well, the Jenson Farms # 1-34, will now go into the testing and completion phase, TBX said Wednesday.

The lease is on the eastern edge of the Anadarko Basin. The prospect is in Canadian County just west of Oklahoma City and is a three-well drilling program that is proposed to a depth of 12,000 feet each. The primary objective of the Union City Prospect is the Hunton formation. The prospect is a developmental prospect with potential gas reserves expected to be between 2 billion cubic feet to 4 billion cubic feet of natural gas and between 70,000 and 100,000 barrels of oil per well.

Dallas-based TBX Resources is participating with up to 10 percent working interest in the drilling venture.
