Matrix Service Co. posts $1.21 million net income for third quarter

Matrix Service Co. on Thursday reported net income of $1.21 million, or 15 cents per share, for the third fiscal quarter ended Feb. 28.

Net income for the quarter was down from $1.24 million, or 16 cents per share, for the third quarter of the previous fiscal year.

The Tulsa-based company specializing in the construction and maintenance of aboveground storage tanks reported revenues for the quarter of $51.9 million, down from $54.6 million a year earlier.

Net income for the first nine months of the fiscal year totaled $4.5 million, or 57 cents per share, up from $4 million, or 52 cents per share, for the first nine months of the previous fiscal year.

Revenues for the first nine months of the fiscal year totaled $164.5 million, up from $156.7 million a year earlier.
