The Society of Exploration Geophysicists hits highest membership in

The Society of Exploration Geophysicists, the world's premier professional society for geophysicists dedicated to the exploration and production of natural resources, ended fiscal 2003 on June 30 with membership of 18,749, its highest in 17 years. The new membership total is 1,157 higher than the figure one year earlier and was the eighth consecutive year in which SEG has gained members.
International membership hit another record high. Fifty percent of current SEG members are from outside the United States.
