Norman Regional Hospital names VP of patient care services

Norman Regional Hospital has named Nancy A. Brown vice president of patient care services and chief nursing executive. Brown comes to Norman Regional from Jefferson Regional Medical Center, a 471-bed acute care hospital system in Pine Bluff, Ark., where she served as vice president of patient care services for eight years.

Brown began her health care career as a nurse's aide, completing both her BSN and master's while at Jefferson Regional Medical Center, eventually accepting the position of director of med-surg. She was named director of nursing at St. Edward Hospital in Fort Smith, Ark., and later accepted a vice president position at Jefferson Regional Medical Center.
