Strategic planning seminar offered for OK nonprofit agencies

A seminar on strategic planning for nonprofit agencies will be offered at the Sarkeys Foundation Conference Center in Norman from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Sandra Hughes, an executive governance consultant, will be the speaker. Her experience includes senior management positions with nonprofit organizations, foundations, and universities, including BoardSource, the United States Rowing Association, the American Bar Association, George Williams College, the Levi Strauss Foundation, the Christian Science Center, and the University of Tennessee. She also served as an independent consultant and facilitator.
The Sarkeys Foundation developed the workshop as part of its monthly Toolbox Series, designed to educate nonprofit staff and board members in matters of development, finance, promotion, education, and board responsibilities.
