Kerr- McGee completes self-tender offer

Under its modified Dutch auction self-tender offer, Kerr-McGee has accepted for payment nearly 47 million shares of its common stock at a purchase price of $85 per share.
These represent approximately 29 percent of the shares outstanding as of March 31.
About 139 million shares were properly tendered and not withdrawn at a price of $85 per share. The offer to purchase shares expired on May 18.
With completion of the tender offer, Kerr-McGee now has approximately 115.1 million shares of common stock outstanding.
