American Cancer Society, High Plains Division, elects Tim Mauldin to

The American Cancer Society, High Plains Division, has elected Tim Mauldin to its board of directors. Mauldin will help set division-wide goals and provide insight and leadership to the newly formed High Plains Division, which includes Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas. He is one of 28 High Plains board members.

Mauldin is an active community volunteer. A faculty member at Oklahoma City University, he has been active with the American Cancer Society since 1994.

During that time, he has traveled to Washington, D.C., to lobby for the Society, been chosen as a National Delegate for the American Cancer Society and has been awarded the Society's Capitol Dome Award for his efforts to win passage of Oklahoma's Clean Indoor Air Act, state funding for breast cancer treatment and detection, and state laws to restrict youth access to tobacco.
